The Opportunity

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), the Group Sustainability Manager will lead Auriga's Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) strategy, reporting, compliance, and risk management.

You will develop and implement the Group's ESG framework, ensuring compliance with sustainability legislation and reporting requirements, while leading carbon accounting, greenhouse gas emissions reporting, climate‑related disclosures, and sustainability initiatives.

Working closely with Finance, Operations, Human Resources, Procurement, and Executive Management, you will help embed ESG into business decisions and drive continuous improvement across the Group.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced sustainability professional to shape Auriga's ESG journey and make a lasting impact across a growing organisation.

What you’ll be doing

- Lead the development and delivery of Auriga's ESG Strategy and Sustainability Roadmap.
- Ensure compliance with ESG legislation and reporting requirements, including NGER, AASB S1/S2, and the Modern Slavery Act.
- Lead greenhouse gas emissions reporting, carbon accounting, and climate‑related disclosures.




- Develop ESG governance frameworks, policies, and reporting processes to support compliance and continuous improvement.
- Identify and manage ESG risks and opportunities, integrating them into the Group's risk management framework.
- Prepare ESG reports, insights, and recommendations for Executive Management and the Board.
- Partner with business leaders to embed sustainability into operational and commercial decision‑making.
- Build strong relationships with regulators, customers, and key stakeholders, supporting Auriga's sustainability objectives and reputation.

What we’re looking for

- Tertiary qualification in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Commerce, Accounting, Law, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 5+ years' experience in ESG, sustainability, climate reporting, carbon accounting, risk, audit, or compliance roles.
- Expertise in greenhouse gas emissions reporting, carbon accounting, and sustainability disclosures.
- Strong knowledge of and experience using ESG frameworks, including NGER, climate disclosures, and Contemporary Slavery obligations.
- Proficiency in preparing sustainability, regulatory, executive, or Board reports.
- Strong analytical, reporting, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to interpret complex requirements and deliver practical business outcomes.
- Professional accreditation or ESG‑related qualifications.
- Experience implementing ESG strategies and sustainability roadmaps within complex organisations.
- Success in working with external assurance providers, regulators, customers, and industry stakeholders.
- Expertise in supporting sustainable procurement and supply chain risk management initiatives.
