Muscle Mat is one of Australia's fastest growing home comfort brands. We design and sell premium foam products direct to consumer, including the Relax Mat, Relax Chair, Crash Pad, Mattress Toppers, sheets and duvets. We sell across Australia, New Zealand and the United States, we're bootstrapped and founder led and we are growing 40% year on year with a small team.

We're about to move into a brand recent office in Bulimba and we're now hiring the people who will take the business to the next level.

We do not use any agencies and never will. This is not a role where you will be briefing agencies. You must have the experience across many fields of how to implement.

The Role

You’ll own the commercial performance of our three Shopify Plus stores across Australia, New Zealand and the US. That means trading the stores day to day, running the promotional calendar, lifting conversion and average order value, and coordinating everything that feeds the stores: Klaviyo email and SMS, paid and organic social, Amazon and TikTok Shop.

You’ll work directly with the founder and our in house content team. You’ll be hands on in the platforms yourself, and you’ll be accountable for revenue.

What You’ll Do

- Own performance across the AU, NZ and US stores: revenue, conversion rate, AOV and contribution margin




- Build and run the trading calendar across all three regions
- Oversee our Klaviyo accounts
- Improve conversion across product pages, landing pages and checkout, working with the content team on copy, imagery and page structure
- Manage and grow Amazon US and TikTok Shop alongside the main stores
- Brief and check product listing assets
- Report to the founder weekly with clear numbers and clear recommendations
- Build out the ecommerce team over time as we grow

What You’ll Bring

- 5+ years in DTC ecommerce, with at least 2 years running a store or channel that does $20M+ a year online
- Extensive Shopify experience
- Strong Klaviyo or similar oversight experience
- Experience trading in more than one region or currency. US experience is a big plus
- Familiarity with Amazon Seller Central and/or TikTok Shop
- Comfort in a lean, fast moving, founder led business with high autonomy and no layers
- Based in Brisbane or willing to relocate. This is an in office role at our Bulimba HQ
