About the Role
This is a hands-on workshop position involving the fabrication, welding and assembly of a wide range of engineering projects. You'll work on both custom one-off jobs and repeat production work, offering a great balance of variety and consistency.
Key Responsibilities
- Fabricate and assemble components from engineering drawings.
- Perform high-quality welding across a variety of materials and fabrication projects.
- Manufacture products to specification while meeting quality and production deadlines.
- Conduct quality inspections and identify any issues before completion.
- Maintain a safe,
clean and organised workshop environment.
- Work both independently and collaboratively with the workshop team.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and efficient workshop operations.
About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Trade qualification as a Boilermaker (Certificate III Engineering - Fabrication Trade or equivalent).
- Previous experience in a fabrication and welding workshop.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- A reliable work ethic and positive attitude.
- Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a team setting.
- Previous experience with press brakes would be an advantage.
