Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will have broad range of responsibilities including:
End-to-end accounts payable, including invoice processing, approvals, payments and supplier reconciliations
Accounts receivable, including invoicing, receipting, collections and debtor management
Manage subcontractor claims, payment schedules and retention tracking
Perform bank, credit card and general ledger reconciliations, including journals and intercompany transactions
Monitor cash flow items and report on upcoming payments and overdue accounts
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and suppliers, handling queries professionally
Prepare reports as required
Provide general administrative and reception support as required
Ideal candidate for this role:
2+ years’ proven experience as an Accounts Officer or in a similar role
Proactive and flexible, with the ability to take initiative
Clear and confident communication skills
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
Demonstrated sense of ownership and accountability in your work
Proven experience using accounting software and financial systems
