About Us

Dental At Home is one of Australia's leading mobile dental providers, delivering high-quality dental care to residents living in aged care facilities throughout Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, the Central Coast and Sydney.

Our patients often live with dementia, Parkinson's disease, physical disabilities, complex medical conditions and significant anxiety. Many have not had access to dental care for years, making our work incredibly rewarding.

About the Role

Every day is different.

You’ll travel with our mobile dental equipment to residential aged care facilities, helping transform meeting rooms and resident bedrooms into fully functioning dental surgeries.

You will work alongside our dentists and oral health therapists providing chairside assistance while supporting elderly residents who may be confused, frightened, hard of hearing or living with moderate to advanced dementia.

This role also involves:

- Regular travel throughout Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, the Central Coast and occasional Sydney trips.
- Driving company vehicles.
- Loading,



unloading and setting up mobile dental equipment.
- Working independently and solving problems as situations arise.
- Occasional work-from-home administration.

We do provide paid training on Dementia

The Person We’re Looking For

We’re searching for someone who:

- Genuinely enjoys helping older people.
- Is emotionally resilient and compassionate.
- Treats every patient with dignity and respect.
- Communicates calmly and professionally.
- Is physically fit and comfortable moving equipment.
- Enjoys working in different locations each day.
- Is organized and proactive.
- Takes pride in excellent infection control standards.
- Has previous dental assisting experience.

Experience with aged care or dementia is welcomed but not essential; we provide comprehensive training.

Essential Requirements

- Previous dental assisting experience.
- Current Australian Driver License.
- Reliable motor vehicle and confidence driving long distances.
- National Police Check (or willingness to obtain one).
- Current vaccination requirements for residential aged care.
- Full Australian working rights.
