Administration & Sales Assistant
Joinery | Interior Design | Client Services
Are you highly organised, enjoy working with people and love keeping everything running smoothly?
Bliss Kitchens & Joinery is looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Admin & Sales Assistant to become a key part of our growing team.
This is far more than a typical administration role. You'll become the central support person within our business, helping guide projects from the initial enquiry right through to production and installation while supporting our Sales, Design and Production teams every step of the way.
No two days are the same. One day you might be assisting with client enquiries and quotations, the next you'll be coordinating supplier orders, scheduling installations, liaising with builders and clients, or ensuring every moving part of a project is progressing on time.
For someone with a genuine interest in interior design and custom joinery, this role also offers the opportunity to progressively learn the design process and assist our Design Team as your knowledge and experience develop. While this isn't primarily a design position, there is genuine long-term prospect to grow into more design responsibilities for the right person.
If you're looking for a long-term career with variety, responsibility and room to grow, we'd love to hear from you.
About the Role
As our Admin & Sales Assistant, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our clients receive an exceptional experience while helping keep our projects organised from enquiry through to completion.
Client Services & Sales Support
- Be the first point of contact for phone, email and general enquiries.
- Guide prospective clients through our services and project process.
- Qualify enquiries and convert suitable opportunities into qualified leads.
- Prepare estimates and quotations for smaller projects and standard enquiries.
- Maintain accurate client records within our CRM and project management systems.
- Create and maintain client files and project documentation.
- Assist our Sales and Design Team with quotations, documentation and administrative support.
Client Coordination & Project Administration
Once a project has been approved, you'll help guide clients through each stage of their journey by:
- Coordinating check measures and site appointments.
- Managing client payments in line with project milestones.
- Acting as a key client liaison throughout production, answering questions and coordinating any required information.
- Ensuring every project continues moving smoothly through each stage without anything slipping through the cracks.
Production Scheduling & Logistics
Working closely with our Production Team, you'll assist with coordinating the many moving parts involved in delivering high-quality custom joinery.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing and maintaining our production schedule using Smartsheet.
- Coordinating factory production schedules, deliveries and installations.
- Booking trades, installers and subcontractors.
- Coordinating supplier lead times and deliveries to ensure materials arrive when required.
- Assisting with ordering project-specific materials, hardware, appliances and outsourced components.
- Helping coordinate external suppliers such as stone manufacturers and paint contractors.
- Assisting with stock management, inventory and receiving deliveries.
Design Team Support
Working alongside our Design Team, you'll also have opportunities to:
- Prepare presentation material and documentation for client meetings.
- Assist with design administration and client communication.
- Support design consultations where appropriate.
- Learn the joinery design process through ongoing training.
- Progressively take on greater design responsibilities as your skills and experience develop.
About You
We're looking for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a fast‑paced environment and genuinely enjoys organising people, projects and processes.
You’ll ideally have:
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Outstanding organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- A professional, friendly and confident phone manner.
- Strong customer service skills.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to think on your feet.
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to take ownership.
- Strong computer skills and confidence learning current software.
- Confidence communicating with clients, suppliers, builders and subcontractors.
- Experience in administration, customer service, project coordination, scheduling or sales support (highly regarded).
- An interest in interior design, cabinetry or the construction industry would be advantageous but is not essential.
Why Join Bliss Kitchens & Joinery?
We’re a passionate team specialising in high‑end custom kitchens and joinery, delivering exceptional workmanship and an outstanding client experience.
In return, we offer:
- A supportive and collaborative team environment.
- A genuinely varied role where no two days are the same.
- Ongoing training and professional development.
- Exposure to every stage of high‑end residential joinery projects.
- Opportunities to develop design skills over time if this interests you.
- Long‑term career progression within a growing business.
- A workplace where initiative, organisation and new ideas are genuinely valued.
If you're someone who loves organising, enjoys working with people and wants a career where you can make a real difference every day, we'd love to hear from you.
We are also willing to hear from you if you are looking for a part time position.
