Becoming a Knifehand at Oakey Beef Exports is an opportunity to upskill and create a long-term pathway, with over 50+ different trimming and Knifehand roles in one department alone. This Knifehand position offers:
- Full-time, permanent employment in Oakey
- Monday to Friday shifts, with five (5) Saturday's each year
- 5:30AM - 1:36PM working hours (+1hr OT when required)
- Full on the job training including a Certificate in Meat Processing
Working as a Knifehand is fast-paced and can be physically demanding. Having the motivation to learn will be an asset in your success. Previous experience using a knife will be extremely advantageous! Some areas of experience that would be beneficial include:
