As part of the continued growth and expansion of our Prospect facility, we are seeking an experienced Production Manager to join our Operations Leadership Team. This is a key leadership role responsible for driving operational performance, developing leaders and ensuring the delivery of safe, efficient and customer-focused outcomes across the site.

Working a Monday to Friday AM Shift, this role provides operational leadership across the site's daytime operations and offers the opportunity to play a significant role in shaping the future growth and success of one of Americold's largest and fastest-growing facilities.

This is a key leadership role responsible for driving operational performance, developing leaders, and ensuring the delivery of safe, efficient and customer-focused outcomes across the site.

What You'll Do

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will provide leadership across multiple operational teams while ensuring productivity, safety, quality and service objectives are achieved.

- Lead and develop Team Managers and frontline operational teams
- Drive a culture of safety, accountability and continuous improvement
- Manage operational performance against labour, productivity and customer KPIs
- Oversee workforce planning, resource allocation and operational execution
- Analyse operational data and implement strategies to improve performance
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and regulatory requirements
- Partner with key stakeholders to deliver exceptional customer outcomes
- Manage employee engagement, performance and succession planning initiatives
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, service levels and operational processes
- Support site expansion, workforce growth and operational readiness initiatives

What Experience and Education You Need





- Proven leadership experience in warehousing, logistics, distribution or manufacturing operations
- Experience managing leaders and large operational teams within a fast-paced environment
- Strong understanding of labour planning, operational metrics and continuous improvement principles
- Demonstrated ability to drive performance, engagement and accountability
- Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making capability
- Experience working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and operational reporting tools
- Tertiary qualifications in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business or a related discipline are highly regarded
