Ramada Port Douglas currently has an opportunity for an experienced hands on Maintenance Officer to join the team!

How You’ll Shine

The Maintenance Officer is responsible for the day to day operation of the maintenance department, including maintaining all resort rooms and amenities, maintaining inventories, caring for equipment and performing the resort preventative maintenance program and completing all department related paperwork. This role will also be responsible for maintaining the resort grounds and gardens.

What You’ll Bring

- Previous experience in a similar role desirable (maintenance and grounds/gardens)




- Understanding of basic Occupational Health & Safety principles and chemical handling
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational and problem solving skills
- Interact with owners and guests in a polite and friendly manner
- The ability to work a versatile roster, with weekend shifts (Sunday – Tuesday) and occasional Saturdays
