We are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate carer to join our team, providing support for a man with cerebral palsy who uses a wheelchair and requires 24-hour care.

This role involves a variety of responsibilities, including personal care (such as showering and toileting), meal preparation, manual handling, and general domestic assistance.

A mix of short and long shifts

Weekdays, evenings, weekends, and overnight hours

Additional hours may be offered once you are confident and familiar with routines and procedures

What we’re looking for:

- Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, evenings, and overnight shifts
- Experience in care is an advantage, but not essential (training provided)
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Adaptability to changes in routine or procedures
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Current Police Check
- Driver’s licence and access to a car (preferred but not essential)
- Reliable, punctual, and robust communication skills
- Willingness to take on some short shifts
- Ideally located in or near Winston Hills or surrounding suburbs
