We are seeking highly experienced Detailer to join our team of dedicated professionals.
We offer full-time permanent employment and short-term 3-6 months' non-ongoing contracts. Role Purpose A Detailer’s purpose is to interpret house plans, customer specifications, and efficient on-site building practices to generate an accurate and timely job detail using PrydaBUILD (design) and MYOB EXO (job costing) software.
A Detailer will follow a documented, standardised process and operate within specified timeframes. A Detailer will independently generate approximately 1 job detail per day for single or two-storey residential houses. Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Managing Respond to technical or work performance questions from colleagues Customer orientation
Informs customers about solutions that meet their needs Gain an understanding of needs and problems with specific customer groups Can discuss basic install issues with builder representatives
Controlling progress Work in a structured manner and in accordance with the standard process of generating a job detail Independently manage time and workflow to ensure production targets are met
Attention to detail Design job components with a clear understanding of practical on-site building practices Follows instructions carefully and flawlessly
Job detailing/ estimating Identify and solve impediments to completing work, such as unclear plans, missing information or inconsistencies between plans and customer specifications Interpret customers’ plans and job quote file to accurately and systematically generate a Pryda BUILD design file and MYOB EXO job sheet
Designs complex 2 story residential homes Provides feedback to peers Checking colleagues detailing
Performance Goals: Generate job design files with no errors of design and efficient design principles Generate Job Sheets with transparent separation of items to be either picked from stock or purchased
Generate clear and unambiguous layout documents for on-site construction Identify and resolve unclear, inconsistent or ambiguous job information Completes at least 1000 units of production per week
Work independently, diligently and accurately Identify alternate options that could help save costs when detail checking.
Salary: Between $79,499 and $82,000 per annum + Super
