As our organisation continues to grow, we are looking for an organised and compassionate SIL Services Coordinator to join our team and manage the quality and delivery of services within our SIL Houses.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing our current 7 SIL houses (only one SIL house requires 24/7 care. The other 6 SIL accommodations house clients with low care needs who do not require 24/7 care). Please note that the number of SIL houses you manage may change based on business growth and needs.

About the Role
As the SIL Services Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing Supported Independent Living (SIL) operations exclusively for clients residing within our SIL houses.
Your Key Responsibilities will be to:
1. SIL Coordination Responsibilities
Oversee all SIL house operations to ensure safe, comfortable, and well-maintained environments.
Coordinate with the rostering team to match SIL clients' staffing needs and preferences.
Regularly review client goals, support plans, and risk assessments, and update as needed.
Conduct internal SIL audits for strict compliance with NDIS Quality and Safeguards standards.
Oversee vacancy management and the transition of new clients into SIL accommodations.
Organise house meetings to resolve client conflicts and promote positive shared living within all SIL Houses.
Liaise with Support Coordinators and families regarding SIL clients' needs and goals.
Build strong, trusting relationships with clients, their families, and their wider support network.
Be part of the on-call roster after 2-months, to attend to urgent staff/client issues outside of business hours (once every 3 weeks / Mon to Fri, 5 pm-9:30 pm / Sat to Sun, 6 am-9:30 pm)
Be on standby to respond to urgent client calls or messages on Fridays during colleague's rostered days off (inclusive of paid on-call allowance).
Ensure SIL clients' records and documentations (e.g. support plans, service agreements, etc.) are regularly updated.
Develop care plans tailored to the needs of SIL clients.
Supervise infection control practices across all SIL houses.
Report and document incidents, risks, and hazards involved in service delivery as required.
Look for ways to improve our services and raise any gaps or risks you notice.
Submit weekly reports on activities to management.
What We Are Looking For
We are looking for someone who is both people-focused, highly organised and understands the importance of empathy and quality in service coordination.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
Prior experience in service coordination (ideally within NDIS or disability sector) - Minimum 1 and a half years of experience
Strong understanding of the NDIS framework
Willingness to participate in an on-call roster and respond to out-of-hours queries as needed
Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise and juggle competing demands
Proficient in Microsoft programs such as MS Word, Excel and OneDrive
Excellent documentation and reporting skills
The ability to work autonomously while also contributing to a team environment
Clear communication skills, both written and verbal
Qualifications Required:
Certificate IV in Disability or an equivalent certificate
Valid Yellow Card (NDIS Worker Screening Card)
First Aid & CPR (or willingness to obtain)
A Valid Driver’s Licence
