About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join their finance team based in Miperra. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced workplace and taking ownership of the end-to-end accounts payable function.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner
- Matching invoices to purchase orders and resolving discrepancies
- Preparing and processing payment runs
- Supplier statement reconciliations and follow-up of outstanding items
- Maintaining accurate supplier records and accounts payable documentation
- Assisting with month-end and year-end financial processes
- Supporting audit requirements, including reconciliations and documentation
- Liaising with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve queries
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
About You
- Previous experience in an Accounts Payable position
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
- Experience with supplier reconciliations and payment processing
- Exposure to audit support and month-end processes highly regarded
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proactive attitude with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
