The Role

We are seeking an experienced Office Manager, Accounts & HR professional to lead the day-to-day operations of our office while managing the business's financial administration, human resources and compliance functions.

This is a senior, hands-on leadership role suited to someone who enjoys responsibility, structure and continuous improvement. Working closely with the Directors and management team,



you will ensure the office operates efficiently while supporting the ongoing growth and success of the business.

You will oversee our administration team, coordinate office operations, manage accounts processes, support HR functions, and ensure compliance with all relevant legislative and quality management requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Office Management

- Oversee the day-to-day operation of the office and administration team.

- Allocate, prioritise and monitor workloads across office staff.

- Maintain office systems and business processes.

- Provide support to Directors and Management.

- Coordinate meetings, company functions and general office administration.

- Ensure a professional, productive and positive office setting.

Accounts & Finance

- Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.

- Process customer invoicing and supplier invoices.

- Assist with payroll processing and payroll administration.

- Complete bank reconciliations.

- Assist with month-end reporting and financial reporting.

- Monitor Work in Progress (WIP) and accrual accounting processes.

- Assist with cash flow forecasting and budget reporting.

- Liaise with external accountants and auditors.

- Maintain accurate financial records using Xero.

Human Resources

- Manage recruitment, onboarding and offboarding processes.

- Maintain employee records and HR systems.

- Prepare employment contracts and HR documentation.

- Coordinate staff performance reviews.

- Support employee relations and disciplinary processes.

- Coordinate apprentice and trainee administration.

- Manage WorkCover claims and return-to-work processes.

- Ensure compliance with Fair Work legislation and employment obligations.

Administration & Compliance

- Oversee the operation of Monday.com and other business systems.

- Maintain company policies, procedures and document control.

- Coordinate ISO 9001 Quality Management System compliance.

- Maintain CC2 certification requirements.

- Ensure compliance with QBCC, WHS, WorkCover and other regulatory obligations.

- Coordinate internal and external audits.





- Maintain insurance, licences and company compliance records.

- Manage Rover and NEVDIS trailer applications and approvals.

- Prepare management reports and business documentation.

- Provide administrative support across all areas of the business as required.

About You

You are a highly organised and proactive professional who enjoys taking ownership and making a genuine contribution to the success of a business. You are confident leading office operations, have strong financial administration skills and are experienced in HR and compliance.

You will ideally possess:

- Previous experience in an Office Manager, Accounts or HR Management role.

- Strong understanding of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and financial administration.

- Experience with Xero accounting software.

- Sound knowledge of accrual accounting and Work in Progress (WIP).

- Experience within engineering, manufacturing, construction or similar industries (highly regarded).

- Strong leadership and people management skills.

- Excellent organisational and time management abilities.

- High attention to detail and accuracy.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

- Professionalism, confidentiality and integrity.

- A positive attitude and growth mindset.

Qualifications & Experience

- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources or a related discipline (or equivalent industry experience).

- Minimum 5 year's experience in a senior administration, office management, finance or HR role.

- Experience with Xero is highly desirable.

- Experience with Monday.com or similar workflow management systems is advantageous.

- Familiarity with ISO 9001, CC2, QBCC, WHS and WorkCover compliance is highly regarded.

- Current Driver Licence.
