The Lion Richlands is seeking reliable and hardworking Casual Kitchen Hands to join our busy and fast-paced kitchen team.

Working across our dining outlets, you'll play an important role in supporting our chefs and ensuring the kitchen operates efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and food safety.

About the Role

As a Kitchen Hand, you will be responsible for:

- Washing dishes, utensils, cookware and kitchen equipment
- Maintaining cleanliness throughout the kitchen and food preparation areas
- Assisting with basic food preparation as directed by chefs
- Receiving and storing deliveriesEnsuring all waste and recycling is managed appropriately
- Following food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety requirements
- Supporting the kitchen team during busy service periods

About You

To be successful in this role, you will:

- Have a strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Be reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team




- Be comfortable working in a fast-paced workplace
- Have high standards of cleanliness and presentation
- Be physically capable of standing for extended periods and lifting kitchen supplies when required
- Be available to work a flexible roster, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
- Previous kitchen hand or hospitality experience is desirable but not essential
