We are seeking an experienced Practice Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our medical administration team.

The role
As a Practice Manager, you will provide leadership to our medical administration teams both on and offsite, ensuring our clinics operate efficiently across multiple locations, whilst delivering an exceptional experience for our patients, specialists and referring practitioners. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Lead, mentor and support the medical administration teams
Oversee the day-to-day operations of our clinics
Support workforce planning, staff rostering and leave coordination
Oversee Medicare billing, private specialist invoicing, receipting and claims ensuring accuracy and compliance
Support the implementation of digital patient forms, electronic signatures and online Medicare claim processes
Ensure compliance with healthcare legislation,
patient confidentiality and Company policies
Assist with recruitment, onboarding, training and performance management of administration staff
Prepare operational reports as required
About you
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Proven experience managing a medical administration team
Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Medicare billing, private specialist invoicing, receipting and claiming
Confidence using medical practice software - HealthTrack would be advantageous
Experience with staff rostering, operational reporting and workforce coordination
Experience implementing or working within paperless practice management systems and digital patient applications
Excellent organisational and time management skills, problem-solving skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
High attention to detail
A proactive, positive and team-focused attitude

You will be required to meet Heart of Australia’s employment criteria which may include but not be limited to a criminal history check and full medical.
This is a full-time role Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm based in Toowong, QLD.
