At SuperChoice, we deliver technology solutions that support the Australian and UK markets. We are looking for an Infrastructure Engineer Graduate to join our Technology team in Sydney.

This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate or early-career infrastructure professional who is keen to build practical skills in Linux administration, system operations, monitoring, troubleshooting and technical support. You will be supported by experienced team members and given the opportunity to learn through mentoring, structured work and hands-on experience.

What You'll Be Doing

- Assist with routine infrastructure tasks across supported systems and environments.
- Learn how our infrastructure, technology platforms, environments and operational processes are structured and supported.
- Follow documented procedures when completing assigned work.
- Assist with system checks, monitoring, maintenance activities and operational requests.
- Support basic troubleshooting, including reviewing logs, checking system status and gathering information.
- Assist with monitoring systems, alerts, dashboards and operational checks.
- Support initial incident or alert triage under guidance.
- Update documentation, checklists, runbooks and support procedures.
- Record work clearly in systems such as Jira, Confluence, ticketing platforms or other team tools.
- Escalate issues, risks or uncertainty to more experienced team members when guidance is required.
- Work collaboratively with the Infrastructure team and other internal teams.

This is an entry-level role.



You are not expected to operate as a fully independent Infrastructure Engineer from day one. The focus is on learning the environment, following processes, asking the right questions and building confidence through practical experience.

What We're Looking For

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

- Relevant study, certification, internship, project work or practical exposure to IT infrastructure.
- A foundational understanding of Linux, or a strong interest in developing Linux administration skills.
- A basic understanding of IT infrastructure concepts, including servers, networks, environments, access, monitoring, backups and system availability.
- Robust attention to detail and the ability to follow technical instructions.
- A willingness to ask questions and seek clarification when needed.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- A positive attitude towards learning, teamwork and continuous improvement.
- A careful approach when working with systems, access, data and operational information.
- Prior commercial infrastructure experience is not required.
