We're partnering with a Federal Government client to engage multiple experienced Database Administrator Experts to support critical national platforms.

About the Role

You'll be responsible for administering and supporting a custom-built, pre-release non-relational database environment. You'll play a key role in database installation, configuration, patching, performance tuning, migrations, disaster recovery, and ensuring the stability and security of critical infrastructure.

- Administer, configure, patch and optimise complex database environments
- Support database migrations, upgrades and recovery activities
- Implement database security, access controls and data management processes
- Troubleshoot performance and availability issues
- Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to deliver reliable infrastructure
- Support disaster recovery planning and testing





What We're Looking For

- Strong experience administering complex database management systems
- Experience working within highly specialised technical teams
- Experience with M204 or IBM z/OS Database/File Management (highly desirable)
- Experience with non-relational databases (Google V8 Engine / Google Protocol Buffer format desirable)
- Experience working in a containerised Linux workplace
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Existing NV1 security clearance.
