We have an opening for Mill Hand (Loader) position at our Beresfield Feed Mill in NSW.

Responsibilities (Include but are not limited to):

The primary responsibility of a Mill Hand is to ensure productive, continued operation of the feed mill as directed by their supervisor. The position of a Mill Hand is also responsible for achieving optimal productivity within Baiada guidelines and to meet customer requirements. A Mill Hand is responsible for complying with production requirements as directed by their supervisor. The position reports to the Feed mill Manager / Shift Supervisor and has direct working relationships with other Mill Hands in their area and co-workers on site.

Key Responsibilities:

- General cleaning and hygiene tasks throughout the feedmill and feedmilling processes
- Ability to operate a forklift to licensed standards and unload palletized freight




- Assist in basic maintenance tasks such as greasing bearings and similar work
- Confined space certificate and entry permit and preform such tasks if required
- Additional other tasks relevant to the role
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and willingness to learn
- Safety Focused Mindset

Skills Required:

- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to understand and carry out instructions
- Ability to operate mobile plant equipment
- Ability to complete own work with limited supervision
- Comfortable working at Heights
- Comfortable working in confined spaces
- Comfortable working in a dusty/noisy environment

Desirable Qualifications:

- Experience in mill, agricultural, or industrial settings
- Confined Space Certificate
- Working at Heights Ticket
