Pickwick Group Pty Ltd is seeking a Pricing Estimator to join our team on a full-time or part-time basis in Brisbane, Qld. Candidates from other States are welcome to apply. This is a crucial role within our organisation, where you will be responsible for providing accurate pricing estimates and analysis to support our business operations. As a Pricing Estimator, you will play an integral part in our commercial and operational decision-making processes, ensuring competitive and profitable pricing.

Key responsibilities

Prepare detailed and accurate pricing estimates for projects, services and product offerings based on client specifications and requirements

Analyse cost data, labour rates, material expenses and market conditions to develop competitive and realistic pricing proposals

Review project scopes of work and technical documentation to identify all cost components and potential risks that may impact pricing

Collaborate with operational, sales and finance teams to gather necessary information and clarify project requirements for accurate estimation

Maintain comprehensive pricing databases and historical data to support consistency and accuracy in future estimates

Monitor and report on pricing trends, competitor analysis and market movements to inform strategic pricing decisions

Prepare explicit and professional pricing documentation, quotes and proposals for presentation to internal stakeholders and clients

Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements to enhance pricing competitiveness

Liaise with clients to clarify specifications, address pricing queries and support the quotation process through to contract award

What we're looking for

Proven experience in pricing estimation, cost analysis or a similar quantitative role, preferably within manufacturing, transport or logistics sectors

Strong mathematical and analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and develop sound pricing recommendations





Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with pricing or estimating software systems

Excellent attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate estimates and reports under time pressure

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain pricing rationale to diverse audiences

Experience in gathering and analysing cost data from multiple sources including suppliers, internal systems and market data

Understanding of the commercial cleaning industry or transferable experience in a related service-based industry.

Ability to work independently whilst contributing effectively as part of a collaborative team

Professional approach to stakeholder relationships and delivering results in a timely manner
