Bagga's Pharmacy Newcastle is seeking an experienced and motivated Pharmacist in Charge to lead our busy community pharmacy. This is an excellent opportunity for a pharmacist who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care while leading a qualified and supportive team.

About the Role

As the Pharmacist in Charge, you will be responsible for the day-to-day clinical and operational management of the pharmacy, ensuring the delivery of high-quality healthcare services and compliance with all professional and legislative requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and support the pharmacy team in delivering outstanding customer service.
- Provide professional dispensing and medication management services.
- Maintain compliance with all pharmacy legislation, qualified standards and quality systems.
- Deliver patient counselling and medication reviews.
- Oversee inventory management and dispensary operations.
- Support and expand qualified pharmacy services.

Essential Requirements

- Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Pharmacist.
- Eligibility to work in Australia.




- Certificate in Non-Sterile Compounding (essential).
- Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
- Commitment to patient-centred care and professional excellence.

Desirable Skills

- Experience using Webstercare medication packing software.
- Ability to provide or willingness to develop Extended Scope of Practice services.
- Experience in community pharmacy leadership.
- Vaccination accreditation and other professional service qualifications will be highly regarded.
