About the Role:

We are seeking a Cook to join our Bowral House Team on a part-time basis with various shifts available!

You will be based at our Bowral House, located at 87-89 Kangaloon Rd Bowral NSW 2576.

Weekly Shift Times: 10:00am to 6:00pm (Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday), 7:00am - 3:00pm (Friday)

Bowral House is seeking a skilled and compassionate Cook to join our team in a warm, resident-focused aged care facility. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in preparing nutritious, home-style meals and understands the importance of food in enhancing quality of life for older people.

Desired Skills & Experience for Cook:

- Police Check (National Police Certificate) (Essential)
- At least 2-3 years experience as a Cook (Essential)
- Previous experience as a Cook in Aged Care (preferrable)
- Assist in the preparation of food and servingof meals
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills, with the ability to work well with staff




- Commitment to providing quality services to residents
- Knowledge of infection control procedures
- General kitchen cleaning and maintenance
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Food safety experience in a healthcare setting desirable
