We're looking for a motivated Engineering Graduate to join our team in Mackay. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your career while working alongside experienced professionals who will mentor you in in reliability engineering, condition monitoring, asset optimisation and industrial sales support.
This is a hands on role combining engineering, technical problem solving and customer support. You'll work with customers across a wide range of industries to improve equipment reliability, minimise downtime and provide practical engineering solutions.
Working alongside our experienced Reliability Engineers and Account Mangers, you'll:
Investigate equipment performance issues and assist with technical problem solving.
Support engineering analysis, condition monitoring and reliability improvement programs.
Assist with vibration analysis, thermography, oil analysis and other predictive maintenance activities.
Participate in equipment inspections, site surveys and asset mapping.
Provide engineering recommendations and design input to improve plant reliability and maintenance outcomes.
Support customers with technical enquiries and product selection.
Assist the sales team by providing technical advice and engineering support for customer solutions.
Build strong relationships with customers and suppliers while developing your commercial awareness.
Maintain accurate project and customer information within our CRM system.
In addition to the above you'll assist the branch with internal sales support including:
Counter, telephone and email enquiries
Submitting and following up customer quotations, converting enquiries to sales and working on activating current accounts and reactivation of dormant accounts.
You’ll ideally have:
A recent degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Industrial or similar Engineering discipline.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
A genuine interest in machinery, maintenance, reliability and industrial equipment.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
