PROJECT CO-ORDINATOR Full Time: 80000K - 100000K D & L Engineering Service Pty Ltd T/A Fabinox
About the company: Fabinox is a solid and respected company doing great and creative things in the Sydney market. We deliver various Fit out/Refurb projects to a high standard for a repeat-client base and are striving toward some big and exciting years ahead.
The Company is seeking a confident, Project Coordinator who will be working alongside the Project Manager, Designers and Operations staff. This role would suit someone with a trade background who has worked their way through the ranks and has a sound knowledge and understanding involved of the fabrication and welding industry and in delivering projects on time and on budget. As a Project Coordinator, you will be providing planning and scheduling support and act as the interface between the project delivery teams and Fabinox clients.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Procurement and invoicing support including invoicing allocation, receipting, raising of purchase orders and jobs
- Managing contractual requirements of each project in line with company policy and procedures
- Submitting monthly client progress claims in a timely manner and in strict accordance with the contract
- Managing paperwork associated with contracts, programs, projects and services provided
- Identify schedule risks and communicate them to the key stakeholders, including recommendations for mitigating actions where possible.
- Working with Project Managers, Architects, Engineering Professionals, owners and others to ensure that goals are met
- Overseeing work by contractors and reporting on variations to work orders
- Preparing and reviewing submissions and reports concerning the organisation's activities
- Collecting and analysing data associated with projects undertaken, and reporting on project outcomes
- Contribute to the successful delivery of projects, considering time and budget
- Track assigned projects through their lifecycle (from initial lead through to project closure).
- Build and maintain client relationships
- Scheduling of trades and coordinating all aspects of current projects
- Hold toolbox meetings with contractors and ensure site WHS standards are met
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Relevant Tertiary Qualifications
- At least 3 years commercial fabrication experience
- Trade background with relevant experience will be considered highly
- Highly Analytical Ability to think outside the box
- Strong Project Management, communication and administration skills
- Strong IT proficiency – including MS Office applications
- Experience of working in a Consultancy / Client-facing environment
