Pantex Roofing Systems is a well-established manufacturer of metal roofing products and is a leading provider to Roofing and Building Contractors across South-east Queensland. We are seeking a Manufacturing Team Member for our soon to be established afternoon shift, who wants stability, variety, and the chance to learn new skills in our safe and well-run manufacturing plant in Narangba.

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Manufacturing Team Member is responsible for playing a pivotal role in the manufacturing process of roofing systems, by performing various tasks related to production, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to quality standards. This is not a warehouse/forklift role – it’s a hands‑on manufacturing position, perfect for someone who enjoys practical work, learning new skills, and being part of a team that gets the job done.

Training

Successful applicants will be provided full, on‑the‑job training as part of our day shift team (shifts between 5:30am and 5:00pm) before moving to a permanent afternoon shift (nominally 1.30pm to 10.00pm).

Duties

- Hands‑on manufacturing of steel roofing products using a range of equipment and machinery




- Operation of machinery and equipment, following standard operating procedures
- Support the production team to meet fast turn‑around customer orders
- Collaborate with sales, logistics and customer service teams to ensure effective production coordination and seamless operations
- Maintain high safety and quality standards every day

What we’re looking for:

- A positive “can‑do” team player attitude – willing to pitch in wherever needed
- Solid work ethic with urgency and attention to detail
- Physically fit and comfortable with standing, lifting, bending and moving throughout the day
- Mechanical aptitude and confidence working with numbers
- Current driver’s licence and reliable transport
- Must hold Australian permanent residency
- Gantry crane experience (preferred)
- Sheet metal / fabrication experience (desirable)
