We're partnering with a well-established, community-focused Outside School Hours Care service seeking an experienced OSHC / OOSH Assistant Director to join their leadership team.

This is an opportunity to step into a genuine leadership role where you'll have the support, resources and autonomy to make a real impact. Working alongside an experienced Director, you'll help lead a passionate team, contribute to the day-to-day operations of the service, and take ownership of creating engaging Vacation Care experiences that children genuinely look forward to.

About the Role

As the Assistant Director, you'll play an integral role in the daily leadership of the service while remaining hands-on with children and your team. You'll also have dedicated non-contact time each week to focus on planning, administration and leadership responsibilities.

- Supporting the Director with the day-to-day leadership and operation of the service
- Leading, mentoring and supporting a team of Educators to deliver high-quality care
- Coordinating engaging,

- Building positive relationships with children, families and the wider school community
- Supporting quality improvement initiatives and ensuring compliance with the National Quality Framework
- Stepping into the Director role when required to ensure the service continues to operate smoothly

About You

- Previous experience working in OSHC, Early Childhood Education or Primary Education
- Leadership experience, or the confidence and capability to step into a leadership role
- A relevant qualification (or currently working towards one)
- Sound knowledge of My Time, Our Place and the National Quality Framework
- Strong communication, organisational and relationship-building skills
- A proactive, positive and solutions-focused approach

Child Safeguarding

Looking for an individual that will understand, adhere to, and promote The National Principles for Child Safe Organisations (the Child Safe Standards). In your position, you will help to take action to promote child wellbeing and prevent harm to children and young people.

- NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC) or willingness to obtain
