Wallaby Foods are a well known Australian Healthy Snack Food manufacturing company. Our products are ranged nationally in major supermarkets and convenience stores around Australia and in some overseas countries such as New Zealand, Dubai, and other countries in the middle-east.

As we start the roll out of our delicious recent products into Coles and Woolworths, and now under new leadership, we are looking at bringing talented people to join our team and work from our state-of-the-art facility in South Murwillumbah.

The facility is temperate controlled all year around (19oC), rain or shine, brand new, super clean, and we are a bunch of nice people, looking to bring more nice people to the team.

The must haves:

Reliable

Strong work ethic

Qualifications & experience (not a requirement, but advantageous)

Previous work experience in a manufacturing environment (ideally food manufacturing)

Previous work experience with production, packing and cleaning

Mechanical aptitude (experience as a machine operator)

Physically fit and agile





The ability to read and write English - to follow detailed instructions

High attention to detail and meticulous in your approach to your role.

Understanding of warehousing requirements

A forklift license would be very advantageous

Tasks & responsibilities

Operating production equipment. Including start-up and shut-down procedures.

The role does include some cleaning of equipment / machinery as per training and instructions.

Complying with Standard Operating Procedures, Work / Shop Floor Instructions and other procedures

Be able to work as part of a team and/or autonomously

The ability to strictly adhere to written and verbal instructions

Ability to be flexible with hours

This will include morning shifts or afternoon shifts (up to 6-7pm).

We are flexible in terms of working hours per day (4h, 6h, or 9/10h shift)

We are also flexible in terms of working days per week (2-3 days availability is ideal)
