ConsultANZ is looking for a Design Manager to join a leading piling and deep foundations contractor based in NSW. This role is ideal for an experienced foundation designer who can lead a small team while delivering high-quality designs for major civil and infrastructure projects.

Main Duties

- Prepare and review designs for bored piers, CFA piles, and retaining walls
- Lead and mentor a team of 5 design engineers
- Coordinate with project managers, site teams, and external consultants
- Review geotechnical reports and develop practical foundation solutions
- Ensure designs are delivered accurately and on schedule
- Provide technical guidance and support across multiple projects
- Maintain strong communication with clients and internal stakeholders

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline




- 8+ years of experience in piling, deep foundations, or geotechnical design
- Strong design experience with bored piers, CFA piles, and retaining walls
- Previous experience leading or mentoring engineering teams
- Strong communication and English skills
- Ability to manage multiple design projects and priorities
- D-wall experience is advantageous but not essential
