Wyndarra Centre Inc. is a well-established not-for-profit organisation that has been supporting the Circular Head community for over 40 years through disability, aged care and community services.
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Financial Officer to join our team on a 12-month maternity leave contract.
Working closely with the General Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the financial sustainability and integrity of the organisation while supporting the delivery of quality community services.
About the Role
- Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Payroll processing and Superannuation
- Bank reconciliations
- BAS preparation
- Budget monitoring and financial reporting
- General ledger reconciliations
- Cash flow monitoring
- Banking and financial administration
- Supporting the General Manager with budgeting and financial reporting
- Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with organisational policies
About You
- Previous experience in bookkeeping, accounting or finance
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- High level computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Experience with Xero (preferred)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Professional integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality
