HR/HC Truck driver with vehicle loading crane ticket (Full-time or part-time)

We are a steel fabrication business in Archerfield looking for a HR or HC licenced driver with vehicle mounted crane ticket (CV) to transport and unload goods predominantly around metro Brisbane and south east Queensland areas. We have a national customer base some of which have a global presence in their specialised fields within the construction industry. We provide our customers with an end-to-end service of fabrication, transportation including cranage, and installations on site. We are looking for someone to fulfil the important role of loading, transporting and unloading our customers products safely to their destination.

This position is a permanent position on hourly rate approximately 38 hours each week and will require someone adaptable with starting and finishing times. We will consider part-time applications too if you meet the criteria.

The successful applicant must have the following credentials:

- HR/HC Truck Licence and can drive Road Ranger
- Vehicle mounted crane ticket or higher




- Good knowledge of SE Qld
- Punctual and reliable
- Have good time management skills and excellent work ethic
- Excellent driving history
- Thorough knowledge of Chain of Responsibility

It will be highly regarded if you have a Forklift Ticket and experience loading and unloading.

Your role and responsibilities will include:

- Performing pre-start checks on trucks prior to operating
- Re-fueling and keeping trucks clean and tidy
- Identifying and reporting inspection defects as well as workplace hazards
- Operating trucks and machinery in a responsible and safe manner and in accordance with transport chain of responsibility regulations
- Completing delivery docket paperworkUndertaking required site inductions in order to effect deliveries
- Conduct yourself respectfully and responsibly both in the workshop and onsite where you will be representing our company and good reputation
- Willing to perform maintenance of trailers/vehicles around the workshop when not driving the trucks
- Must be able to provide contactable references.
