Grassroots ELC is seeking an Assistant Educator looking to complete studies but willing to be in charge of our centre cleaning.
We have exciting opportunities to make a positive impacts on the lives of young children in our vibrant centre. We have a couple of opportunities including:
Assistant Educator / Cleaner
A flexible role seeking someone mainly looking for a cleaning role but also able to step in to assist educators as needed. You will be required to be available 5 days a week from 6:30am to 6pm.
What You'll Be Doing
- Ensure a clean, safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment that promotes children's physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development
- Collaborate with families to build strong partnerships and support children's learning and wellbeing
- Assist in maintaining accurate records, observations, and assessments to monitor children's progress and inform future planning
- Actively participate in team meetings, professional development, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Comply with all relevant early childhood education regulations, policies,
and procedures
What We're Looking For
- Cert 3 studying Diploma
- Current Working with Children Check and First Aid certification
- Food Safety Certificate
- Understanding of the and National Quality Standards
- Passion for supporting the holistic development of young children
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous improvement
- Dedication to protecting children
