The Coach and Horses Hotel will be undergoing a refurbishment shortly—blending its rich heritage with a vibrant, modern design. Now we’re looking for a visionary General Manager to lead its next chapter.

As part of the Thomas Hotels group, you’ll take the reins of a flagship venue that offers something for everyone: a premium sports hub, curated food and beverage experiences, dynamic function spaces, and a thriving bistro. This is your chance to really own the direction of this traditional all round operation.

About the Venue

The Coach and Horses Hotel is one of Randwick's most versatile venues. Moments from the light rail Station and the hospital, it’s a modern hospitality playground set in a stunning heritage building. You’ll oversee:

- Two expansive beer gardens
- A buzzing sports bar with a loyal following
- A thriving bistro with contemporary appeal
- Function and events spaces for all occasions
- TAB, bottleshop and a solid gaming floor

The Role





This isn’t just about operations—it’s about orchestration. You’ll curate the customer experience across all touchpoints, lead a high‑performing team, and bring ideas to life that reflect the heart of your community.

You’ll have ownership over:

- Weekly entertainment and ‘what’s on’ programming
- Food and beverage direction (with support of Executive Chef & beverage partners)
- Local sponsorships and community engagement
- Functions, sport viewing experiences, and later‑trade strategy
- Team development and culture‑building

We’re Looking For Someone Who:

- Brings at least 3 years of senior pub or hotel management experience
- Thrives in multi‑format environments with multiple revenue streams
- Leads with energy, creativity, and a customer‑first mindset
- Has a deep understanding of gaming, F&B;, and high‑volume trade
- Is proactive with compliance, licensing and team wellbeing
- Loves being on the floor, building relationships and mentoring talent
