Our client, a large Federal Government Department that enables access to quality skills, training, and employment to support Australians find secure work in fair, productive and protected workplaces are looking for Azure Cloud Engineer.
Duties of the Azure Cloud Engineer:
- Participate in requirements analysis to understand the needs of the domain.
- Work closely with Solution Architects and Enterprise Architects to design appropriate enterprise-class solutions.
- Write clean, maintainable and scalable code.
- Collaborate with team members and other delivery teams to achieve outcomes.
- Test and deploy applications and systems.
- Revise, update, refactor and debug code.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Demonstrated experience working in a small specialist team or multi-disciplinary team as a software engineer in an enterprise-class environment delivering a range of enterprise IT capability based around Microsoft Azure .NET cloud and on-premises technologies, including integration of the two.
- Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced agile delivery environment to establish capability needs,
working with solution architects and other technology staff to build, improve, and maintain sustainable IT capabilities.
- The ability to communicate effectively in writing, in person and via Video Conferencing, including guiding enterprise Software Development Teams in the use of enabling capability and standards.
- Experience with any of the following: .NET, SQL, C# or other object-oriented programming language.
