PWD Plumbing Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled and experienced Civil Operator to join our growing team in Moree, NSW. As a full time Civil Operator, you will play a vital role in the execution of our construction projects, operating a variety of heavy machinery and equipment to support the successful delivery of civil infrastructure works.
Job Role
Safely operate and maintain a range of heavy plant and equipment, including excavators, backhoes, loaders, and graders
Carry out earthmoving and site preparation activities such as digging, levelling, and compacting
Support the construction of roads, drainage systems, and other civil infrastructure
Collaborate with the construction team to ensure efficient and effective project delivery
Adhere to all safety protocols and environmental regulations
Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on assigned equipment
Keep accurate records of equipment usage, maintenance, and any incidents
What we're looking for
MUST HAVES:
- Experience as a Civil Operator or similar heavy equipment operator role
- Experience with Civil drainage
- Proficient in the operation of a range of civil construction equipment, including excavators, loaders, graders, and backhoes
- Strong understanding of civil construction methods and techniques
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Demonstrated commitment to safety and a strong safety-first mindset
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow instructions
- Valid driver's licence and relevant licences/tickets for operating heavy machinery
