About the Role
Reporting to the International Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing employer-sponsored visa applications from initial consultation through to visa grant while ensuring compliance with Australian migration legislation and Departmental requirements.
Working closely with our recruitment, mobilisation and business development teams, you'll provide trusted migration advice to clients and candidates and help growTechforce's migration services offering.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end employer-sponsored visa applications, including:
- Skills in Demand (Subclass 482)
- Employer Nomination Scheme (Subclass 186)
- Labour Agreements
- Temporary Activity visas where applicable
- Provide migration advice to corporate clients and sponsored employees.
- Prepare and lodge sponsorship, nomination and visa applications.
- Ensure compliance with the Migration Act, Migration Regulations and OMARA Code of Conduct.
- Advise and assist clients on Labour Market Testing, sponsorship obligations and visa compliance.
- Liaise with the Department of Home Affairs and other relevant authorities.
- Support international recruitment campaigns and workforce planning initiatives.
- Develop migration processes, templates and compliance systems.
- Keep abreast of legislative and policy changes affecting employer-sponsored migration.
About You
You'll be a commercially minded migration professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and partnering with businesses to solve workforce challenges.
You’ll also have:
- Current registration as an Australian Registered Migration Agent (MARN).
- Demonstrated experience managing employer-sponsored migration programs.
- Strong knowledge of Skills in Demand visas, Employer Nomination Scheme visas and Labour Agreements.
- Excellent understanding of Labour Market Testing requirements and sponsor obligations.
- Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills.
- High attention to detail and exceptional organisational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple applications simultaneously while maintaining compliance.
- Experience working with employers in mining, construction, engineering or labour hire will be highly regarded.
