As an Operations Services Coordinator, you will play an integral role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our purpose-built research facility, ensuring our researchers and teams have the services, resources and environment they need to deliver life-changing discoveries.
Working as part of a collaborative Operations team, you'll gain exposure to a diverse range of operational activities including Stores, facilities services, contractor management, specialised research environments and building operations. This is a varied, hands-on role where no two days are the same, offering the opportunity to work across multiple operational functions while contributing to meaningful medical research.

What You'll Be Working On
- Coordinate the day-to-day operations of the Stores function, including inventory management, stock control, receiving and dispatch activities.
- Support supplier relationships and assist with product evaluations and stock management processes.
- Coordinate operational services including cleaning, security, waste management and other contracted services.
- Work closely with contractors and service providers to ensure services are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with operational requirements.
- Coordinate maintenance, servicing, certification and compliance activities for specialised research environments.
- Maintain accurate operational records, documentation and reporting systems.
- Support building operations, inspections, event setups and general facilities activities.
- Respond to operational issues and work collaboratively with the Operations team to ensure continuity of services.
- Provide exceptional operational support that enables researchers to focus on delivering world-class scientific outcomes.
What Will Help You Be Successful?
To succeed in this role, you will bring experience in an operational environment such as facilities, stores, logistics, inventory management, healthcare, research, manufacturing or a similar industry.
You’ll also have:
- Experience coordinating Stores operations, inventory control, receiving and dispatch activities.
- Experience supporting facilities services, contractor coordination or operational service delivery.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- The ability to work independently, show initiative and solve operational issues effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships across a diverse organisation.
- Experience working within a research, laboratory, healthcare or specialised environment (highly regarded).
- Solid attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety and compliance.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and operational systems for record keeping and reporting.
- A proactive, hands-on approach with a genuine commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
