What You’ll Be Doing:
- Supporting daily living needs such as personal care, cooking, and light household tasks
- Encouraging social participation and community activities
- Helping participants achieve their individual goals
- Building meaningful and trusting relationships
- Communicating clearly with families and team members
About You:
- You’re kind, patient, and genuinely love helping others
- You enjoy building positive relationships with people from all walks of life
- You have (or are working toward) a Cert III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, or similar
- You hold current First Aid, CPR, and an NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Experience providing support to people with disabilities, either in a professional or personal capacity
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to supporting people with disabilities
- A current driver's licence and access to reliable transportation
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
Qualifications & experience
- Experience preferred, but not essential as you will be trained
- NDIS workers screening clearance
- Working with children's check
- Current first aid/CPR certificate
- Have the right to work in Australia
- Driver licence, reliable transport and comprehensive car insurance
