About the Role

Hydraulic Doctors is looking for a mature, business minded person for this senior office-based position responsible for overseeing all aspects of the day-to-day administrative functions and business operations. You will be providing support across multiple areas including front of house, accounts, administration, and purchasing logistics.

Key Responsibilities

Manage front of house including, presentation, screening and prioritising phone calls and customer enquiries;

Take responsibility for daily office operations and administration functions;

Liaise with suppliers, customers and external service providers;

Respond to emails and correspondence;

Collaborate and assist with scheduling job bookings to ensure efficiency;

Priority daily purchasing;

Accurate entry of supplier invoices, parts and components;





Manage accounts receivable and payable including detailed invoicing;

Implement, maintain and update office systems;

Assist with HR administration and people management processes;

Use initiative and proactive mindset to take the lead in the absence of management when required;

Assist management with planning, co-ordination and continuous improvement initiatives;

Support Company Director's and the efficient operation of the business.

Skills and Experience

Demonstrated experience in an Office Manager or Senior Administrator role within a small-medium business enterprise;

Strong understanding and experience with business systems and procedures

Proficient time management and organisation skills;

Must have excellent reception skills and be able to take clear, concise messages;

Effective relationship building skills across all stakeholders including customer service;

Demonstrated accounts experience with a high level of accuracy | Experience with MYOB preferable;

Diploma in Business/Office Administration;

Initiative and solutions oriented with logical and effective problem- solving skills;

High attention to detail;

An advanced level of Microsoft Office Suite, in particular Outlook, Word and Excel;

Experience with inventory management highly desirable;

Drivers licence required.

Full-time permanent role (Mon-Fri | 8.00am to 4.06pm + overtime as required);

Competitive rate negotiable to match skills and experience + super;
