Immediate Start Trainer & Assessor - Rockhampton

Peter Pan Literacy Club is seeking an experienced Immediate Start Trainer & Assessor to join our team in Rockhampton, QLD. This is a casual position that offers flexibility whilst delivering high-quality vocational training and assessment services to our diverse learner community. You will play a vital role in developing the skills and confidence of participants through engaging, practical training and rigorous assessment practices. This position is based in Rockhampton and is ideal for experienced trainers looking for flexible, immediate opportunities in the vocational education and training sector.

Key responsibilities

- Deliver engaging and interactive vocational training sessions tailored to diverse learner needs and abilities
- Conduct a thorough and fair assessment of participant knowledge, skills and competency against industry standards
- Develop and adapt training materials and resources to ensure content is current, relevant and accessible
- Provide constructive feedback to participants to support their learning progress and professional development
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of training delivery, assessment outcomes and participant progress

What we’re looking for

- Current or recently held vocational trainer and assessor qualifications (or demonstrated equivalent competency)
- Proven experience delivering vocational training and conducting assessments in your area of expertise




- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and engagingly
- Demonstrated ability to adapt training delivery to meet the diverse needs of adult learners
- Flexibility and responsiveness to changing training requirements and participant needs
