Casual Active Support Workers (Western Sydney)

Forsight Australia is seeking passionate and dedicated Casual Active Support Workers to join our team. We have 4 homes conveniently located in Quackers Hill, Blacktown and Acacia Gardens that you will predominantly be working across.

In this role, you will provide personalised support to adults with a range of disabilities, empowering them to live independently and participate actively in their local community.

What you'll be doing

- Assisting clients with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks
- Facilitating community engagement and participation through outings, leisure activities, and social events
- Advocating for clients' rights and ensuring their individual needs and preferences are met
- Collaborating with the wider support team to develop and implement holistic care plans
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation to support client wellbeing and care
- Adhering to all organisational policies, procedures, and safety protocols

What we're looking for

- A Certificate III or IV in Disability, Community Services, or a related field, or studying towards, and/or at least 6 months experience in a similar role, supporting adults with a range of disabilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients and their families
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a flexible, adaptable approach to supporting clients' needs
- A genuine passion for empowering individuals and promoting their independence and inclusion




- Able to work well as part of a diverse team
- A current and unrestricted NSW driver's licence
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Unrestricted right to work in Australia
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Flexibility with your availability for shifts on a 24/7 roster (including sleepover shifts).
