What We Need
City Linemarking is seeking an organised, proactive and customer-focused Service Coordinator / Scheduler to join our operations team.
This role is responsible for coordinating daily works, scheduling field crews, liaising with clients, ensuring resources are available, and keeping projects running efficiently.
You will play a key role in ensuring jobs are delivered on time while maintaining exceptional customer service.
This position suits someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, thrives under pressure, and enjoys solving scheduling challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule daily, weekly and future works across multiple crews.
- Coordinate labour, subcontractors, plant, vehicles and equipment.
- Allocate jobs based on staff availability, location and project priorities.
- Liaise with clients regarding booking confirmations and schedule changes.
- Prepare daily work packs including plans, permits and site information.
- Coordinate material deliveries with the Project Manager.
- Monitor project progress and update schedules accordingly.
- Communicate changes immediately to field staff and clients.
- Manage emergency call-outs and urgent scheduling requests.
- Ensure all required documentation is completed before works commence.
- Assist with obtaining client purchase orders where required.
- Track job completion and ensure completion documentation is received.
- Update the operations management system with accurate job information.
- Work closely with Project Manager and Supervisors.
- Maintain excellent communication between office and field staff.
- Ensure maximum crew utilisation while reducing downtime.
- Identify scheduling conflicts and provide practical solutions.
- Support continuous improvement of operational processes.
About You
You are highly organised, enjoy planning ahead and have excellent communication skills. You can juggle multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
You enjoy solving problems and can remain calm under pressure when schedules change.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in scheduling or service coordination.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to prioritise multiple tasks.
- High attention to detail.
- Robust computer skills including Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Professional telephone manner.
- Current Australian Driver Licence.
Desirable
- Experience within construction, civil, trades or infrastructure.
- Experience using job management or scheduling software.
- Knowledge of GPS fleet tracking systems.
- Experience coordinating multiple field crews.
- Understanding of WHS requirements.
