Our Electrical business is seeking a skilled casual Electrician to join our team in Rockhampton, QLD 4700. This is a casual position that offers flexibility whilst maintaining the high standards of electrical work our clients expect. As an Electrician, you will play a crucial role in delivering safe, compliant, and professional electrical services to our diverse client base. Your expertise will directly contribute to the success of our projects and the satisfaction of our customers.
What you'll be doing
- Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings
- Reading and interpreting electrical drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications
- Diagnosing electrical faults and implementing effective solutions
- Testing electrical equipment and installations to ensure safety and compliance with relevant standards
- Performing routine maintenance on electrical systems and equipment
- Adhering to all health and safety regulations and industry best practices
- Communicating effectively with clients to understand their electrical requirements
- Keeping accurate records of work completed and materials used
- Contributing to a collaborative team setting and supporting colleagues as needed
What we're looking for
- A valid electrical licence or recognised qualification in electrical work, as required by Queensland regulations
- Proven experience working as an Electrician,
ideally with exposure to varied project types
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, circuitry, and safety protocols
- Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment and diagnostic tools
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- A commitment to health and safety standards and compliance requirements
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical fitness and capability to perform manual tasks and work at heights where required
- A current driver's licence and reliable transport
- Preferred: experience in preventative maintenance, emergency repairs, or specific sectors such as hospitality or healthcare
