About the role:

Working amidst the team and directly with local and international clients, the role has a broad remit including, but not limited to:

- Preparation of the month-end close process working closely with seniors and management
- Utilising cloud technology to drive process improvements both internally and externally, ideally have experience with Xero
- Client-facing, as the day-to-day contact with clients in relation to:
- Oversight of accounts payable and processing of supplier payment runs
- Preparation of accounts receivable invoices
- Preparation of payroll tax lodgements and reconciliations
- Preparation and lodgement of monthly/quarterly business and instalment activity statements
- Assist in the supervision and training of junior staff

About you:

- Have completed bachelor's degree with a major in Accounting or Finance
- Have completed or are looking to complete CA, CPA or Equivalent Qualified
- Experience in management accounting
- Ideally have experience with professional services in accounting and tax/outsourcing, ideally from a local top or mid-tier firm
- Experience with Xero,



NetSuite or other cloud accounting software's would be beneficial
- Knowledge & experience with tax compliance requirements for GST, WHT and ongoing tax office lodgements
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
- Excellent organisation & time management skills
- Excellent relationship management, teamwork, and collaboration skills
- Strong numerical and IT skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to learn
