Process Operator - Expression of Interest

Heritage Minerals is coming back to life and will be restoring the 'rattle and hum' of 30 years past. We are seeking motivated and safety-focused Process Operators to join our growing operations team. You will play a key role in the safe and productive operation of our gold processing plant, ensuring production targets are achieved while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and responsible environmental compliance.

Key Responsibilities

- Safely operate and monitor fixed plant equipment within the gold processing plant.
- Conduct routine plant inspections and identify operational issues.
- Monitor plant performance and make adjustments to optimise production.
- Perform start-up, shutdown and isolation procedures in accordance with site procedures.
- Complete routine housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Assist with minor maintenance activities and plant troubleshooting.
- Accurately complete operational reports, log sheets and shift handovers.
- Work collaboratively with maintenance and operational teams to maximise plant availability.
- Comply with all site safety, environmental and operational procedures.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

- Previous experience operating within a fixed gold processing plant (highly regarded).
- Experience with crushing, grinding, CIL/CIP circuits, elution, gold room operations or tailings and water treatment management being consistent with our new plant.
- A strong commitment to workplace health and safety.




- Sound mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Willingness to work a rotating roster, including day and night shifts.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
- Uphold the company values of Safety, Respect, Responsibility & Innovation
- Current Australian Driver Licence.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening.
- National Police Check (or ability to obtain one).
- Full Australian working rights.

Desirable Qualifications

- Certificate III in Resource Processing or similar qualification, (or goal to undertake the same)
- Front End Loader, Forklift, EWP or Telehandler tickets.
- Working at Heights and Confined Space qualifications.
- First Aid Certificate.
- Experience with process control system

Process Plant operators will work a 8 days on 6 days off, 7 nights on 7 nights off continuous shift roster, with 5 weeks annual leave. you will be working at a brand new plant however please be aware that it will not be for the feint hearted with ladders, stairs and exposure to the elements (all weather). The plant generally operates 24/7 except for short shutdowns ensuring maximum availability.
