The Maintenance Store Person is responsible for the efficient day-to-day operation of the Maintenance Store, ensuring spare parts, tools, and maintenance materials are accurately stored, controlled, and readily available to support site operations. Working closely with Maintenance, Engineering, and Operations teams, the role focuses on inventory accuracy, warehouse organisation, safety compliance, and timely support of maintenance activities.

Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a proactive and dependable storeperson with experience in inventory management within a manufacturing, engineering, maintenance, or industrial environment. They will be highly organised, safety-focused, and capable of supporting site operations by ensuring critical maintenance stock is well managed, easily accessible, and accurately controlled. Experience working with maintenance spare parts, CMMS systems, forklift operation, or industrial stores would be highly advantageous.
About You
You are a highly organised and proactive Storeperson with experience in inventory control, warehousing, or maintenance stores within a manufacturing, industrial, or engineering environment. You take pride in maintaining accurate stock levels, keeping stores well organised, and ensuring critical parts and materials are available when needed to support operational performance.
You have a solid attention to detail and a safety-first mindset, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and efficiency. Comfortable working independently, you are also a collaborative team player who can build effective working relationships with Maintenance, Engineering, and Operations teams.
You are confident using inventory systems, managing stock movements, and maintaining high standards of housekeeping and organisation. Most importantly, you understand the impact that effective spare parts and inventory management has on reducing downtime and supporting the smooth operation of a manufacturing site.
What You’ll Bring
- Experience in stores, warehousing, inventory control, or spare parts management
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Experience managing stock receipting, storage, issuing, and replenishmentA proactive approach with the ability to work autonomously
- Solid communication and stakeholder management skills
- Commitment to safety, quality, and housekeeping standards
- Experience in a manufacturing, engineering, maintenance, or FMCG environment is highly regarded
- Forklift licence and experience with inventory management systems would be advantageous
