About the Role
As our Maintenance Co-ordinator, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and presentation of our facility, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment while meeting all legislative and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general repairs, preventative maintenance, and facility upkeep.
- Coordinate and supervise external contractors and service providers.
- Manage workplace health and safety (WHS) requirements and risk management.
- Ensure compliance with fire safety, building maintenance, and relevant regulations.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and prioritise urgent repairs.
- Assist in maintaining the grounds and ensuring the facility is presented to a high standard.
About You
You are a reliable, organised,
and hands-on maintenance professional who enjoys working independently while being part of a supportive team. You take pride in maintaining safe, functional, and welcoming environments and have a genuine commitment to supporting older Australians.
Ideally, you will have:
- Previous experience in building or facilities maintenance.
- Strong problem-solving and practical repair skills.
- Knowledge of WHS requirements and maintenance compliance.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- The ability to manage competing priorities and work autonomously.
- Experience in aged care, healthcare, or a similar environment (desirable but not essential).
