Kitchens for Living is seeking an experienced and Senior skilled Cabinetmaker to join our team in Mayfield West, NSW. This is a full time position offering the opportunity to work with a great team in a well organised factory. Custom Joinery with plenty of variety to your day.

What you'll be doing

- Constructing custom cabinetry according to client specifications and technical drawings
- Working in a team environment to meet Scheduled builds
- Operating hand tools with precision and safety
- Liasing with our Machine shop team to meet assembly timelines
- Installing hardware, hinges, handles and other fittings to completed cabinetry
- Collaborating with the design and installation teams to ensure projects are completed on time and to specification, including following through our QC checklist for each project
- Maintaining a clean and organised workshop environment, adhering to health and safety regulations
- Working as a team member to ensure our company standards and customer expectations are met

What we're looking for

- A formal qualification as a Cabinetmaker OR years' experience to match.
- Proven experience working as a professional Cabinetmaker, ideally with 3+ years in the industry
- Advanced proficiency with Custom Joinery
- Strong understanding of joinery techniques and cabinet construction methods, including a variety of hardware options
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to quality craftsmanship




- Problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to requirements
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
- A valid driver's licence and a reliable work ethic
- Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations in carpentry and cabinet making
- Experience with CAD software or design technology is advantageous - especially Cabinetvision for plan interpretation
