Aurora ARC is currently seeking experienced High Voltage Electricians - Testing & Commissioning for a major wind farm construction project in Recent South Wales. This role will focus on the testing, commissioning and energisation of wind turbine electrical systems, transformers, protection relays and associated high-voltage infrastructure. This is an opportunity to work on a large-scale renewable energy project and play a key role in bringing new wind generation assets online.

- Dry-type transformer testing andcommissioning
- Core insulation resistancetesting
- Current transformer testing andverification
- Transformer protection relaytesting
- Relay final primary injectiontesting
- MV side Power Quality Meter(PQM) testing
- LV side Power Quality Meter(PQM) testing
- 6kV transformer testing andcommissioning
- 690V transformer testing andcommissioning
- Completion of test reports andcommissioning documentation
- Fault finding and rectificationsupport during energisation activities
- Ensuring all work is performedin accordance with project specifications, Australian Standards and site safetyrequirements

About You

To be successful in this role you will have:

- NSW Electrical Licence
- High Voltage Switching and/or HVOperations qualifications
- Proven experience in HV testingand commissioning environments
- Experience with transformertesting, protection systems and relay testing




- Ability to interpret electricaldrawings, protection schematics and commissioning documentation
- Strong understanding ofelectrical safety procedures and permit-to-work systems
- Construction White Card
- Current driver's licence
- Previous wind farm, renewableenergy, substation or major infrastructure project experience highly regarded
