Production, Logistics and Inventory Coordinator
In this role you will be supporting our fashion retail business across online and in-store channels in Australia and international markets. This role is responsible for managing production timelines, coordinating inventory movements, and ensuring seamless logistics through strong partnerships with third-party logistics (3PL) providers. You’ll work closely with our buying, production, and e-commerce teams to keep products flowing from suppliers to our warehouses, stores, and directly to customers.

Key responsibilities
- Coordinate and track production orders with manufacturers to ensure timely and most cost efficient delivery.
- Action and manage the resolution of faulty or damaged goods, including replacements, repair or
- Maintain clear timelines and critical paths for seasonal and core product lines.
- Liaise with 3PL providers to manage the receipt, storage, pick/pack, and dispatch of goods to stores and online customers.
- Oversee both inbound shipments (from suppliers/factories) and outbound distribution (to customers and stores), ensuring delivery deadlines are met.
- Ensure accurate and timely communication between internal teams and logistics partners, including resolving delivery or inventory issues.
- Manage and track international freight and customs clearance for incoming goods.
- Support cost control by tracking freight charges, working with 3PLs to find efficiencies, and reducing
- Manage 3PL cost efficiency, regularly review aged, slow moving stock and pick face organisation to reduce storage cost and opportunities to consolidate old stock
- Responsible for accurate HS Codes, and commercial documentation for all inbound and outbound international shipments
- Own and manage all freight carrier accounts and relationships – including rate negotiation,
carrier selection and account set up
- Use inventory and order management systems (Shopify, Shiphero Cin7 + USA 3PL system) to
- Order all supplies and packaging needs for suppliers and warehouses
- Creation and management of all products and barcodes in Cin 7, ShipHero
- Manage all pre orders in Cin 7 and Shopify
Technical skills
- Proficiency with, or strong interest in learning, AI tools and agents. Prior hands on experience a bonus, not a requirement.
- experience in logistics, supply chain, or production coordination within a retail or e-commerce environment (preferably fashion/apparel).
- Experience working with third-party logistics (3PL) providers in both Australia and international markets.
- Solid understanding of international freight, customs documentation, and shipping terms (e.g., FOB, DDP).
- Strong organisational and time management skills — able to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Proficiency with inventory management systems, Excel, and logistics software.
- Solid interpersonal and communication skills to work across internal teams and external
- High attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset.
- Experience with Shopify, or other retail/e-commerce platforms is highly regarded
- Takes initiative and sees challenges as opportunities to improve and innovate.
- Communicates clearly and respectfully, working well with cross-functional teams including buying, warehouse, customer service, and external partners.
- Can adapt quickly in a fast-paced, deadline-driven retail environment.
- Brings a solutions-focused mindset and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves when needed.
