KAEFER Integrated Services is looking for a motivated and reliable individual to join our Gladstone team as a Boilermaker. This hands‑on role offers a varied and dynamic working environment across our mechanical workshop operations, where no two days are the same.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This position is offered on a 5 & 2 roster, working Monday-Friday.
Camp accommodation is provided, and this role is DIDO only.
Working as part of a cooperative and fast‑paced team, you will play an important role in supporting workshop operations and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing general fabrication, repairs and maintenance
- Maintaining a safe, clean and organised workspace
- Assisting other trades personnel as required
- Collecting, organising and managing workshop materials
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A positive, can‑do attitude with the ability to adapt to changing priorities
- A strong work ethic and the ability to work autonomously
- Manual driver’s licence
- Trade certificate (Boilermaker)
- Standard 11 (or willing to obtain)
- Coal Board Medical (desirable)
- Working at Heights (completed within two years)
- Confined Space (completed within two years)
- Gas Test Atmospheres (completed within two years)
